Modi 3.0: Ashwini Vaishnaw

Among the 30 Cabinet rank Ministers in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Cabinet, Ashwini Vaishnaw is totally an overloaded Minister with many key portfolios. He is handling Railways, Information and Broadcasting, and Electronics and Information Technology. Why Modi allotted heavy three portfolios to bureaucrat turned Minister Vaishnaw, who earlier also gave Railways, Communications handling Telecom and Post, Electronics, and Information Technology?

Usually, Railways and Information and Broadcasting (I&B) are handled by separate two full-time Ministers with Cabinet Rank, as these Ministries are very important. Very rarely, the Minister in charge of I&B has given other major portfolios. Like Railways, I&B is also a key Ministry and is always handled by two senior Ministers. Apart from these two heavy Ministries, Ashwini Vaishnaw is given another important portfolio – Electronics and Information Technology. Why so? Only Modi can answer.

Modi 3.0: J P Nadda

BJP President J P Nadda is also handling two key ministries. He is the Minister of Health and Family Welfare and Minister of Chemicals and Fertilizers. Chemicals and Fertilizers also handle the Pharmaceuticals Department. For the past few decades, Chemicals and Fertilizers have always been handled by a separate Minister.

Modi 3.0: Jitendra Singh

Minister of State in Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) Jitendra Singh is also an overloaded Minister. Normally, MoS in PMO handles a very important Ministry the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions. Apart from these very important portfolios, Jitendra Singh is handling other important portfolios like the Ministry of Science and Technology and the Ministry of Earth Sciences. He is also MoS in the Department of Atomic Energy and Minister of State in the Department of Space.

Why some Ministers are overloaded? The answer is simple: Portfolio allocation is the Prime Minister’s prerogative.

  1. Overloaded to sink it in mid-sea !! Modi & his team should take the blame & suffer for losing elections. Indians also should suffer in the entire process for voting Pappu. Unemployment should rise by another 10% for voting to Pappu.
Modi chest is bursting to 62″ now, will increase freebies to Muslims & deny it Hindus, so that he will get nobel prize.
